PI75054: PROCESS STEP PALETTE DOES NOT EXPAND ENOUGH WHEN THERE ARE A LARGE NUMBER OF PROCESS PALETTE CATEGORIES

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When the user has a large number of process palette categories
    (enough to fill the entire left pane), the top most category
    will not expand enough to be usable.
    
    To reproduce this without a large number of palette step groups:
    1) Open a Process
    2) Either minimize the screen until the palette category list
    exceeds the screen space or "Ctrl +" the browser window until
    it is large enough that the palette category list exceeds the
    screen.
    3) If doing the former, click the Configuration tab and then
    click back to the Design tab.
    

Local fix

  • To fix locally with a large number of palette categories
    1) Enter a value into the step palette filter/search
    2) (AS of 6.2.3.1) Click on  the + Button on the palette
    category title to expand all of the process steps in that group
    
    To fix with window size/zoom issues:
    1) Zoom out
    2) Enlarge the Window size
    3) Refresh
