Can't locate Mail/Send.pm or Date/Format.pm in @INC

Troubleshooting


Problem

This technote identifies a defect where the IBM Rational ClearCase ccperl utility on Microsoft Windows, UNIX and Linux is unable to send mail notifications due to a incorrect library pathing and provides a workaround to resolve the issue.

Symptom

The 2003.06.00 Managing Software Projects guide introduces a script named Postoperation Trigger Script on page 133 to send email notification.

The script begins with:

package SendMail;
use Config;
use Mail::Send;

Running the script results in the following error:

Windows example:
