APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When panel ADB2SYSA is displayed to switch SSIDs anything
entered in the command area results in an ISPF error ending the
ADB session.
The problem is caused by an attempt to refresh panel variable
'sysr3' which is not always defined.

Local fix

  • There is no local fix or work around for this unless the user
manually removes the 'refresh(sysr3)' statement in the panel.

When using primary command SSID and then on panel ADB2SYSA,
'Active DB2 Systems', issuing an invalid primary command or an
invalid line command, the following error is displayed:

ISPP293
REFRESH is specified for a field or area that is not on the
panel.  Panel ADB2SYSA, 'Active DB2 Systems', is changed to
prevent the use of the REFRESH statement in this situation.

  • Panel ADB2SYSA, 'Active DB2 Systems', is changed to prevent
the use of the REFRESH statement in this situation.
