Error description

  • 1) Expected behavior:
AppScan will be able to open a scan.

    2) Observed behavior:
AppScan can't open a scan, and a message appears: "AppScan
cannot open this file. The scan data may be corrupted or the
file may have been saved without scan data".

    3) Workarounds (if applicable):
      1. rename myscan.scan to myscan.scan.zip
      2. extract all files from myscan.scan.zip to a folder
      3. open this folder and select all the files (You may first
delete the .tmp files, but this procedure works correctly even
    without deleting these files)
      4. right-click the select files > Send to > Compressed
(zipped) folder (this is using the out-of-the-box Windows 7
feature, no special 3rd party tools needed)
      5. rename the newly created .zip file to new.scan

Or delete/rename the doc file in scan file.
