Error description

  • DB2 Admin Tool may generate an incorrect (very high) value for
DSNZPARM CACHEDYN_LOCAL.  This may cause the assembly of
DSNZPARM via the DB2 Admin Tool panels to fail with
'CACHEDYN_FREELOCAL MUST BE AN INTEGER FROM 0 TO 3'.

Local fix

  • Go to System Parameters->Application Programming Defaults, and
manually update 'Free cached dynamic statements' to the correct
value. for CACHEDYN_FREELOCAL.

*                 and linkedit the DSNZPARM module,            *

*                      generated correctly on panel            *
*                      ADB2ZZAP, 'System Parameters -          *
*                      Application Programming'.               *

DB2 Admin Tool may generate an incorrect (very high) value for
DSNZPARM CACHEDYN_LOCAL.  This may cause the assembly of
DSNZPARM via the DB2 Admin Tool panels to fail with the
following message:

'CACHEDYN_FREELOCAL MUST BE AN INTEGER FROM 0 TO 3'.
