Question
When running DB2® High Performance Unload, the message "INZU366I HPU Return Code 8 (Reason Code 0x11ca003)" is returned.
Cause
HPU encounters a problem with the staging directory.
Answer
The requirements HPU has of its staging area can vary. For example, if the data being unloaded is LOB data, the space requirements can be very large. This error can be caused by the staging area running out of space.
If the stagedir parameter is not set (in the db2hpu.cfg file), then HPU will use /tmp by default.
To resolve this problem. you must either add space to /tmp, or set stagedir to a path with sufficient space.
