APAR status

Error description

  • DataDirect ODBC encountering ORA-01426: numeric overflow when
WireProtocolMode=2 is used. Fixed in DataDirect ODBC 07.12.0077
version which is available in ITX 9.0.0.

Problem Description:
ITX maps are failing with error code  (-1009)
Failed_to_execute_the_SQL_statement.
The database adapter trace shows
Error in SQLExecDirect
Message: [IBM WTX][ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol
driver][Oracle]ORA-01426:
numeric overflow
SQL State: S1000

This is a known DataDriver ODBC driver problem:

Problem conclusion

  • ITX version 9.0.0.0 installs required level of Data direct ODBC
drivers.
ODBC drivers from 9.0.0.0 install can be used with 8.4.1.x
version of ITX product.
