PI67007: PROVIDE TOLERATION SUPPORT FOR FUTURE DB2 ENHANCEMENTS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Provide toleration support for future DB2 enhancements.
  
  This APAR also addresses the following issues:
  
  1. After successfully binding server packages with job
  HLVBINDD, attempting to use Studio to BIND with the same
  Prefix fails both with and without the Replace option.
  With Replace checked, the following error occurs:
  SQLCODE = -722, ERROR: BIND REPLACE ERROR, PACKAGE DOES NOT
  EXIST
  Without Replace checked, the following error occurs:
  SQLCODE = -721, ERROR: BIND ERROR FOR PACKAGE, CONTOKEN IS NOT
  UNIQUE SO IT CANNOT BE CREATED
  
  2. Message 'HLV3315W Operational mode for DB2 subsystem could
  not be determined' received when starting the server.
  
  3. Corrects bind issues when DRDAPACKAGEPREIFX is something
  other than DS.
  
  4. Add Support to pass SMF dataset name on a Virtual View Table.
  

Local fix

• Free all packages and use Studio to perform BIND / GRANT (with
  no Replace).
