  • Object Compare used to compare source ddl file to catalog and
partition column that has a date value shows missing quotes
around the date in the generated WSL after compare.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: Users of Object Compare where the compared   *
*                 objects are in partitioned tablespaces,and   *
*                 the  partitioning limit keys contain date,   *
*                 time or timestamp data types.                *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users can see  statements in work       *
*                      statement lists which are missing       *
*                      quotes  for values in the  VALUES       *
*                      clause.                                 *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
Changes were made to ADB2REG, ADB2REM, and GOC2DTC to eliminate
the problem.
