Effective starting version 7.0 for the IBM® Rational® Team Products (ClearCase®, ClearQuest®, ReqPro®, TestManager®, ProjectConsole®), IBM Rational will no longer support certain operating system versions, database versions, or browser versions.

- OS/390 2.10 - Applicable to the ClearCase z/OS Extensions. Customers must migrate to z/OS 1.4
Database Support Discontinuance:
- SQL Anywhere®
- Sybase SQL Anywhere® (Review technote 1224003 for more details.)
- Oracle® 8.1.6, 8.1.7
- DB2® 7.2 fp8
Browser Support Discontinuance:
- Internet Explorer 5.5
- Mozilla® 1.4
Feature Support Discontinuance:
- Support Policy for VOB schema 53 and ClearCase 7.0

Note: "Discontinued from support" means that no new operating system releases, product improvements, or requests for enhancements (RFEs) will be supported for these platforms in this version. In addition, no new software patches will be available for these platforms in this version. However, IBM Rational will make reasonable efforts to offer continued Customer Support services for usage calls and existing software patches.

It is IBM Rational’s intention to support each product release for five years beginning at the date the product is available for purchase (general availability date) and to provide maintenance support during that period.
