APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool's ALC line command adds quotes to a
  quoted column name in panel ADB27C'ALTER Table' which results
  in the column name having triple quotes. This can result in an
  error SQLCODE -206 column not found as """column name""" is not
  the same as "column name".

• Do not use quotes around the column name in panel ADB27C.

  In ADB27AC  when an  attempt is made to alter a table that
  contains a column name in quotes (for example "Col name"),
  (1) the old-to-new column name matching logic in procedure
  convert_ddl is deficient, and (2) the IFF file column name
  is not matched  correctly  with the name on  the LOAD card
  because the column  name card image  generated by the LOAD
  utility  for  such a column  has the  double double-quotes
  (""Col name"").
  

Problem conclusion

• Name matching logic in ADB27AC is corrected.
