PK29051: MSGDFS2804A ERROR IN RECOVERY USING IMS STANDARD IC THAT OPC CREATED WITH IC=YES

Error description

• DFS2804A error in recovery using the IMS standard Image Copy
  that Online Pointer Checker created with IC=YES (IMS V8 and
  IMS V9).
  This is a forward fit of FPO V2.1 APAR PK29030.

  Forward Fit of FPO V2R1 APAR PK29030.
  In IMS version 8 and 9, IMS database recovery utility cannot
  recover a database with IMS standard image copy data set
  generated by OPC and gets the following DFS2804A error message.
  
  DFS2804A   HEADER RECORD ON DDNAME ddname IS NOT CONSISTENT
  WITH cccc FOR FUNCTION ff
  

Problem conclusion

• OPC did not generate correct IMS version 8 standard image copy
  header format. Therefore, database recovery utility cannot
  recognize the IMS version 8 and 9 standard image copy dataset
  header.
  
  The module FPXAICW0 has been modified to set a value X'01' into
  DCBNO (DCB number) that are moved from offset X'03' to offset
  X'36' in IMS version 8 and 9, and set a AREA number into
  DCBNO (DCB number) in IMS version 7.
  
  The macro FPXUDHDR has been modify to support IMS version 8
  standard image copy header format.
