Error description
Updating directly from RAD 6.0 to 6.0.1.1 + iFix 001 + iFix 002 using the RPU would sometimes corrupt files related to license verifications. Some indication of corruption would be the missing folder: <RAD_install>\rwd\eclipse\plugins\com.ibm.rational.web.developer _6.0.1 even though RAD has been updated to 6.0.1.1. Currently the cause of this issue has not been determined.

Please answer folowing questions. 1) What does 20050725_1800 value mean in the "Found in Build(s)" field ? 2) RPU log looks fine. How did customer find out that the update was unsuccessful ? 3) Usually we ask customers to follow these instructions when they face licensing issuees. It seems they don't have these plugin in. However, RPU log shows that this proxy-feature was deployed sucessfully Get the install and do the following: i) cd to disk1\config\lum\rad directory ii) run: enroll.exe -debug -dir . It will tell you if you have the licenses. If the above methods does not help, you will need to do the following check: 1. cd to ?install_dir?\rwd\eclipse\plugins 2. List the contain the the directory and find out the latest version of the following two plugins: - com.ibm.rational.web.developer - com.ibm.etools.jsf 3. Inside com.ibm.rational.web.developer_x.x.x directory, looks for lum.xml file. Open this file and it will show what version of com.ibm.etools.jsf plugin it is depending. 4. If the version in step 3 is different from that in step 4, the image is corrupted. Make sure you have run RPU to bring the product up-to-date. 5. If it still does not help, more investigation needs to be done by IBM support.
