PK26029: REPEAT LINE COMMAND DURING ALC RESULTS IN SQLCODE104

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool ALC command does not amend the
  column attributes for inserted columns when the repeat line
  command is used. This results in a SQLCODE -104  when the
  data type of the column is changed from CHAR to DATE as the
  syntax generated is:
  SQL ALTER TABLE "aaaaaaa"."aaaaaaa" ADD
  ADD "aaaaa" DATE FOR SBCS DATA NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT;
  

Local fix

• Edit the ALTER statement before execution.
