PJ40946: VIEWER PRINTING TIFF TO PDF CREATES "LINES" ON GENERATED FAX

APAR status

Error description

• Using Viewer to print a TIFF image document as a PDF.
  1. user opens the TIFF in the viewer and prints it to a PDF
  using Adobe Acrobat Distiller.
  2. user sends the PDF file to a Topcall FAX server via Outlook
  (everything looks fine in the PDF).
  3. Topcall converts the PDF file to a TIFF and FAXes the TIFF to
  the external party.
  4. The external party is unable to read the fax because there
  has been lines added to the document.
