Error description

  • If the source Db2 subsystem has a storage group with trailing
spaces in its name, and this storage group is renamed during
the clone using the STOGROUPS keyword in the DB2UPDATE command,
DB2UPDATE might end with RC=8 and issue message CKZ22460E.
With this fix applied, storage groups with trailing spaces in
their names can be successfully renamed using the DB2UPDATE
command if the source and target storage group names have the
    same length (excluding trailing spaces).

Local fix

  • Specify a target stogroup name with the same length as the
source stogroup name, including trailing spaces.
If this suggestion does not help, remove the rule for the
offending source storage group from the STOGROUPS keyword.
Db2 Cloning Tool will still perform VCAT and VOLSERs
translation for this storage group, so it will be usable at
    the completion of the process.
