Problem
This technote explains why the error, "This operation is permitted only when the entity is in an editable state", occurs when using IBM® Rational® ClearQuest® Mail Reader.
Symptom
The following error is logged when Mail Reader attempts to process an e-mail:
Error: This operation is permitted only when the entity is in an editable state
