Error description

• The CICS Configuration Manager Version 5.4 Server is running in
  a  CICS/TS Version 5.4 region.  The CCVBMAIN batch utility
  COLDSTARTCOMPARE   report is run for a CICS region that is
  running under CICS TS 5.2.
  
  The CCVBMAIN utility fails RC=08, and issues the error
  messages:
  
  CCV9175E A collection phase for Deployment Analysis has failed.
  CCV9186E The CICS resource type MQCO  is not valid.

  The CICS Configuration Manager v5.4 Server is running in a CICS
  TS 5.4 region.  The CCVBMAIN batch utility COLDSTARTCOMPARE
  report is run for a CICS region that is running under CICS
  TS 5.2. The CCVBMAIN utility fails RC=08, and issues the error
  messages:
  
   CCV9175E A collection phase for Deployment Analysis has failed.
   CCV9186E The CICS resource type MQCO  is not valid.
  
  COLDSTARTCOMPARE reporting collects and assesses the candidates
  for comparison purposes. If the Server is running in a CICS TS
  5.4 region, any MQCONN definitions with a INITQNAME value are
  deemed to spawn a corresponding MQMONITOR resource in the same
  manner as would CICS TS 5.4 at installation time.
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS Configuration Manager for z/OS is corrected. The spawning
  of MQMONITOR resources for COLDSTARTCOMPARE reporting is now
  bypassed for RUNTIME regions running CICS TS release 5.3 or
  lower, as these do not support MQMONITOR resources.
