  *                 Serena Changeman - certain cases.            *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If the Changeman repository contains    *
  *                      any bytes in the user data that is not  *
  *                      valid UTF-8, the AD XML parser may      *
  *                      fail to process the package data.       *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Affected users should apply this fix.        *
  ****************************************************************
  If the Changeman repository containsany bytes in the user data
  that is not valid UTF-8, the AD XML parser may fail to process
  the package data. Affected users may experience timeouts
  while waiting for the package data retrieval to complete.
  

Problem conclusion

• The AD mainframe connector (agent) was modified to recognize
  invalid UTF-8 bytes and convert them to spaces in the data
  stream.
