APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The customer is experiencing an SSL validation error when
importing from a Git repository (SSL certificate problem: unable
to get local issuer certificate). They have stated that they
require usage of invalid SSL certificates, thus an option to
disable SSL verification is required in the plugin.

Local fix

  • Either logging into the agent machine with the account that
started the agent and executing 'git config --global
http.sslVerify false' from a terminal, or executing 'git config
--system http.sslVerify false' to disable SSL verification for
all users.

Problem conclusion

  • A checkbox was added to the plugin to support skipping the SSL
validation. The fix is released with the latest version of the
plugin.
