This technote explains how to resolve the error "There is 1 data-entry item without field source". This occurs when using IBM® Rational® ClearQuest® Designer to validating the database schema.

Symptom


You receive an error preventing you from checking in the schema. You must resolve the problem:

Entity "Defect" Form "Defect_Base": There is 1 data-entry item without field source.

0 warning(s) found

    In past versions, specifically 2003.06.x, this problem resulted in a warning. However, you could still check-in the schema.
