Local fix

Problem summary

  • Problem Description:
Design Studio was throwing an exception when setting up the
Length field for a Packed Binary number item in a type tree. The
ClassCast Exception has been corrected where Integer value was
incorrectly being casted to String resulting in pop-up message
showing the failure. The issue has been resolved and Design
Studio now allows the length to be set for Packed numbers.

    Users Affected:
8.2.0.4 and older 8.2.x Design Studio users

    Platforms Affected:
    Windows

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed a problem with Design Studio where it throws an exception
and fails to set the length for a Packed Binary number item in a
    type tree.

    Delivered in:
    8.2.0.5, 8.3.0.0
