APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • DFSLRIQS got ABEND0C1 because it was posted from DBFDT400
    repeatedly without AWE.
DBFDT400 is looping in DFSLRTHR macro due to TQE (Throttle Queue
    Element) is pointing to itself.
Originally, ECB was suspended in ThrottleSelf routine in
DFSLRRDU. DISP trace was filled with this repeated IPOST from
    DBFDT400.

DFSLRIQS got ABEND0C1 because it was posted from DBFDT400
    repeatedly without AWE.
DBFDT400 is looping in DFSLRTHR macro due to TQE (Throttle
Queue Element) is pointing to itself.
Originally, ECB was suspended in ThrottleSelf routine in
DFSLRRDU. DISP trace was filled with this repeated IPOST from
    DBFDT400.
This is the result of the ThrottleSelf routine getting called
again after the ThrottleSelf TQE has been created. A new TQE
will be created that has a tqe_next pointer pointing to itself.

Problem conclusion

  • GEN:
    KEYWORDS:

    *** END IMS KEYWORDS ***
DFSLROPR, DFSLRRDU, DFSLRRR0 and DFSRWRR0 all have
ThrottleSelf routines and have been changed to recognize
when there already exists a ThrottleSelf TQE and bypass
    creating another.

Temporary fix
