APAR status

Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS will issue a SQL warn(+100)
message on panel ADB24 "DB2 Change Current SQL ID" when the
clist ADBL has an incorrect value for the CMOWN parm or the
General Customization Parameters:cmown. parm contain an
incorrect value.

The SQLCODE100 is issued as the program is checking a table
<cmown>.ADBCID and if the table does not contain any entries
the SQLCODE100 is returned by DB2.

Local fix

  • Ignore the message or set the correct CREATOR for the CMOWN parm

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS        *
*                      returns an SQLCODE+100 if the           *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *

The user receives SQL warning (+100) on a SQLID
command. The SQLID is changed but does not persist
across invocations.

Problem conclusion

  • DB2 Administration Tool  was changed to resolve the
problem.
