Problem summary

    * was not being displayed in the RUN *
    * CONFIRMATION panel. *

    The variable DSQS#MOD is used in the RUN CONFIRMATION message
    panel to indicate how many rows in a table were modified by a
    query.
    The 5th character in the variable, a # in English code pages,
    should map to x'7B' in whatever code page is used by QMF.
    The variable in the French version of the DXYFSMAQ script file
    incorrectly mapped to x'B1', thus making it an undefined
    variable in QMF code that formats the confirmation message.

Problem conclusion

  • The pound sign, 5th character in the variable name DSQS#MOD
    used in the RUN CONFIRMATION panel has been remapped to the
    appropriate character represented as x'7B' in the French
    code page.
