Abstract
This Support Technical Exchange offers alternative approaches to diagnosing COBOL working storage overlays that reside outside of the scope of the CICS storage checker and COBOL's language features. The approaches include coding concepts, along with CICS dump and trace diagnostics. This presentation was created at the CICS TS 3.2 level, but most of the information still applies; however things like offsets might have changed.
