Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS Change Management panel
  ADB2CRO "CM - Register Options" issues a message:
    Invalid token after left paren - expected column name
    Error occured when parsing the following stmt :
    ALTER TABLE "XXX"."XXX" ADD "XXX
  and
    "Register Incomplete"
  when attempting to register a change which contains a column
  who's name has an embedded semicolon e.g. "COL;UMN"

  *                 the  ALC function,  the Change Management    *
  *                 function  and that may include semicolons    *
  *                 within a column name or table identifier.    *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A  semicolon  embedded  within  the     *
  *                      quotation  marks was being  treated     *
  *                      as a termination character, marking     *
  *                      the end  of one  statement and  the     *
  *                      beginning of the next statement.        *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  The embedded semicolon may cause an errors during the CM
  register or analyze processes.
