The attached document outlines the steps required to move an existing IBM Content Manager OnDemand for i installation to another IBM i system. These instructions are valid for any compatible releases of IBM i. Compatible releases are defined as an IBM supported upgrade path from the old release to the new release, for example, from V7.4 to V7.5.

- These instructions assume that you are moving Content Manager OnDemand from your current system to a new system, not merging one Content Manager OnDemand system with another.
- The documented method is the only supported method for moving your Content Manager OnDemand system. Using other methods, such as using High Availability (HA) software, mirroring, or Backup, Recovery and Media Services (BRMS) often results in problems such as missing objects or user profiles, and authority issues.
