Abstract

This document lists the hardware and software requirements for: IBM WebSphere Process Server, and IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus, Version 6.2.0, on the HP-UX operating system on IA64 platforms.

This page describes the minimum product levels that must be installed before opening a problem report with the WebSphere Process Server or WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus support team. Because other products frequently ship fixes, updates, and new releases, testing every configuration is not possible. In general, you can install and run with minor updates to supported products if those updates are forward compatible. For additional information on available support for configurations that are not included in the following list, refer to support article WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus has grown and so have your requirements. The Product Support and Technical Support for minor forward-compatible updates is covered in the section "Other Configurations".

Supporting software (for example LDAP servers) can run, but does not need to run, on the same computer or operating system where the product runs. For additional information:


This document identifies supporting software that runs on the HP-UX operating system on IA64 platforms.

  • HP-UX 11iv2 (11.23) (64bit kernel support) with Standard Patch Bundles of March 2006 and Sep 2004 Bundle 11i

    • WebSphere Process Server 6.2.0 Fix Pack 1 and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus 6.2.0 Fix pack 1 requires IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment 6.1 Fix Pack 23.
    • WebSphere Process Server 6.2.0 Fix Pack 2 and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus 6.2.0 Fix Pack 2 requires IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment 6.1 Fix Pack 25.
    • WebSphere Process Server 6.2.0 Fix Pack 2 and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus 6.2.0 Fix Pack 2 are certified and recommended on WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment 6.1 Fix Pack 27, and are supported on all later WebSphere Application Server Fix Packs.

    • Notes:
    • WebSphere Process Server 6.2.0 Fix Pack 1 and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus 6.2.0 Fix Pack 1 requires SR9.
    • The WebSphere-supplied Java 2 software development kit (SDK) is required for both the runtime environment and remote Java Clients.

    Currency Certification:
    Currency certification 1411426: WebSphere Process Server 6.2.0 Fix Pack 2 and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus 6.2.0 Fix Pack 2 are certified and recommended on Java SDK 1.5 SR10.

    • Embedded MQ v6.0.2 Fix Pack 4 client in WebSphere Process Server V6.2.0 Fix Pack 3 does not support connection to MQ V7.0.1 Fix Pack 1 using bindings mode. Upgrade to MQ v6.0.2 Fix Pack 5 to get around it.
