PK73792: PANEL ADB2RQ ATTEMPTS TO REVOKE PRIVILEGES FROM A USER WHEN A SPACE IS ENTERED INTO THE INPUT FIELD

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool panel ADB2RQ "Revoke Sequence
  Privileges" attempts to revoke privileges from a user when a
  space is entered in front of a privilege.
  For example:
    ALTER       Y USAGE
  would result in:
  REVOKE ALTER,USAGE
    ON SEQUENCE "aaaaaaa"."aaaaaaa_aaa"
  

Local fix

• Use the PROMPT feature to edit the REVOKE statement

  *                         even when not selected.              *

  *                      2) Panel ADB2RIPI,  Interpretation      *
  *                         of revoked privileges,  does not     *
  *                         properly display: "Auth level of     *
  *                         grantor" when it is "L" SYSCTRL.     *
  *                         "SYSCTRL authority".                 *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *

  1) Panel ADB2RQ was ignoring any changes to the values displayed
     for ALTER and USAGE.
  
  2) Panel ADB2RIPI was not properly displaying values for HOWGOT
     and SYSCTRLAUTH.
  

Problem conclusion

• Incident is now resolved.
