PK71091: ZSUMM PANEL GIVES GARBAGE WHEN THREE CHARACTER SUBSYSTEM NAME IS USED. LOTS OF EXTRA PERIODS INSTEAD OF TEXT

Error description

• After maintenance customer gets garbage on the ZSUMM panel of
  classic when using 3 character subsystem. 3 Char ssid 3char

  While on 3 character DB2 SSID custome redirects to another
  SSID(4 character) using option Z and they get to panel
  ZELOG and zoom to the new SSID and get log on error message=
  VTAM classic log on error KO2O0905E

  When brought up DB2 Collector on our 3 Char SSID this message
  showed up:
  KO2O1000W DB2 ACCOUNTING CLASS ONE TRACE STATUS IS INACTIVE,
      ALL FIELDS CONTAINING  N/A  ARE UNAVAILABLE (OTHJTHDA)

  Signed onto the Omegamon Classic (3270)- executing
  SUMMARY command 'S' from the main menu get garbage then
  hit PF3 to return to the main menu I get a CLOCK/X-SYSTEM
  on my screen and the collector task goes into a hard loop and
  has to cancelled.

  Not loggin on to the CLASSIC interface (3270) but bring up
  the XE agent (D5), the Collector (O2) takes a S0C4 as soon as
  the D5 agent attempts a connection.

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  When the OMEGAMON Server is configured to monitor a DB2
  subsystem with a three character DB2 subsystem name and the
  Classic Interface (VTAM) is used to display summary data for the
  DB2 Subsystem with the three character subsystem name, garbage
  data are displayed in VTAM panel ZSUMM.
  When option 'R.A' is selected from the VTAM main menu to display
  Buffer Manager Information, message KO2O1230E is displayed.
  
  PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
  During initialization of the OMEGAMON Server subtask PESERVER
  not all parameter for a monitored DB2 Subsystem with a three
  character subsystem name were set. The missing parameters
  prevented the retrieval of certain performance data or resulted
  in the retrieval of wrong data. The error has been corrected.
