APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Under IMS V10 a BMP gets an Abend0C4 on a AIBTDLI call with RSA.
The problem is a one-byte overlay of the field following
immediatly the RSA field, so it looks like IMS returns with 9
bytes instead of an 8-byte RSA ...
    .

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABENDS0C4 occurs during a AIBTDLI call *
    * to a GSAM data base using an RSA and *
    *                      APAR PK46917/UK27322 applied.           *

    ****************************************************************
ABEND0C4 occurs during a GN call, Get Next call, of a AIBTDLI
call. The error occurs because code added after label MOVD0850
in APAR PK46917 moved the GBZFLAG into the byte after the User
RSA Area. The User RSA Area, GBRRAPTR, is an 8 byte field that
is returned to the user in the keyfeedback area. Since the
GBZFLAG was stored into the next byte after the user RSA area,
the value in GBBQCB was overlayed.

Code added by APAR PK46917 that stored GBZFLAG into one byte
after GBRRAPTR was removed from module DFSZD210 after label
    MOVD0850.
