Error description
You have a CICS to CICS LU6.2 connection that's cross network. Intermittently, you receive: DFHZC2411 E date time applid termid tranid nodeid attempted invalid logon SENSE CODE 0835 0039 ((29) Module name: DFHZBLX). This particular instance involves a connection which has 2 SNASVCMG sessions and 2 user sessions. The dump shows the two SNASVCMG sessions bound, and one of the user modegroup sessions bound, but not the last user modegroup session. When the remote attempted to bind, we rejected the request. The problem is caused by TCTERIR (CICS responsible for re-initiation) being initially set to ON in the secondary user session. After the sessions go down, this causes CICS to try and re-acquire the secondary user session as well as the primary. The SIMLOGON fails because the other CDRSC has been deactivated (temporarily) leaving the secondary session with TCTE1RY set. This causes the subsequent BIND from the partner system to be rejected DFHZC2411 with instance 29.

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Following a DFHZC2405 "node not active" * * failure, LU6.2 BINDs fail with sense * * code 0835 0039. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** An attempt to re-acquire an LU6.2 parallel session results in MSGDFHZC2405 "node not active" and an exception response from VTAM. The primary session indicator (TCTE1RY) is not being reset, so that subsequent BIND requests from the partner LU may be rejected with MSGDFHZC2411 sense code 08350039. Problem conclusion
DFHZNCA has been changed for MSGDFHZC2405 when processing an LU6.2 parallel user session. TCTE1RY will now be reset.
