Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool ALC command generated invalid DDL
  when Change Management was not used and an IDENTITY column as
  added to a table.
  The DDL resulted in a message ""Processing error" on panel
  ADB27CTC "Alter Table" with the DDL containing:
  ,  ..       SQL ALTER TABLE "DB2INST1"."DEPT" ADD "AAA" INTEGER
  ..   GENERATED BY DEFAULT AS IDENTITY ..     (START WITH 0,  ..
  INCREMENT BY 1,  ..      MAXVALUE 3000000,  ..      MINVALUE 1,
  ..      NO CYCLE,  ..      ORDERNO CACHE);
  

Local fix

• Edit the generated DDL via the PROMPT option

  *                      panel ADB27CR  that the primary index   *
  *                      also may need to be changed.  For the   *
  *                      subject case, the index does not need   *
  *                      to be changed.                          *

  When using ALC to change the identify attributes of a primary
  key column, a message may be issued on panel ADB27CR that the
  index for the primary key may need to be changed.
