Abstract

This document describes how to download IBM Financial Transaction Manager for z/OS Developer Edition V3.2.0.

Download Description

IBM Financial Transaction Manager for z/OS Developer Edition V3.2.0 makes it much easier for clients who run Financial Transaction Manager on the z/OS operating system in production to obtain, install, and maintain their development and test environment running on Microsoft Windows. It also allows z/OS client access to Cognos Analytics for Multiplatforms to provide dashboard and reporting capabilities for their z/OS production environments. It includes the full IBM Financial Transaction Manager V3.2.0 development environment.

Downloading and assembling the product
Before proceeding to download the IBM Financial Transaction Manager for z/OS Developer Edition v3.2.0. product customers should check Fix Central to determine the latest fix pack level that is available. Customers installing the latest fix pack level of the product do not need to download the IBM Financial Transaction Manager for z/OS Developer Edition v3.2.0 eImage referenced below. To access Fix Central please follow this link: https://www-945.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/

The IBM Financial Transaction Manager product software can be downloaded from Passport Advantage®, provided
that you are authorized to do so.

 

 

 

  1. Access the Passport Advantage Online website here.
  2. Sign in.
  3. Select the Find by part number search option under Download finder options.
  4. Search for each downloadable image by part number (parts are listed and described by platform, below)
  5. Download all of the parts you need.
  6. Unpack, if appropriate, each of the parts into a single, temporary directory on your system.
  7. Follow the instructions in the product documentation listed above to install the product.

Any server capable of running one of the following operating systems:

    • Windows 7 Professional SP1 (Development Environment only)
    • Windows 10 Pro (Development Environment only)
