Error description

  • When Rational Application Developer exports the Portal configura
tion, it fails to include the com.ibm.portal.internalurl.refobje
ctid parameter which prevents the user from editing the page tha
t the URL points to later on (i.e. can't be done through the Por
    tal Admin pages).
    Output :
            ?content-node action='update' active='true' content-pare
    ntref='OID_label.e01a746991' ordinal='300' preserve-old-layout='
    true' type='internal-url' uniquename='urlLink.8eacb56991'?
                ?supported-markup markup='html' update='set'?page.01
    1a746991?/supported-markup?
                ?localedata locale='en'?
                    ?title?Link to Page1?/title?
          ?/localedata?
        ?/content-node?
There should also be an element of the form:
    ?parameter name='com.ibm.portal.internalurl.refobjectid' type='s
    tring' update='set'??![CDATA[6_UE4S1I93086I402JQDEPO62GH6]]??/pa
    rameter?
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Create a new Portal project
    2. Open the Portal configuration
    3. Drag a URL from the palette under the default 'Page1' that is
     created.
    4. In the dialog click 'Internal' and then select 'Page1'. Use w
hatever you want for the title.
    5. Publish the configuration.
6- Now again try to edit the url in the Portal Designer. It is n
    ot editable.
7- Edit the URL in the portal server it is not editable there to
    o..
