APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool ALC function regards the NULL
  keyword as a literal on panel ADB26CTU'Create Table Column
  Number n' resulting in a quoted string 'NULL' or a message
  'Default value too long' for columns with a length less than
  four.
  

Local fix

• Edit DDL manually to remove the quotes or add the NULL keyword
  for columns shorter than four bytes

  When using the CREATE TABLE dialog or the ALC line command,
  specifying NULL on panel ADB26CUU or ADB26CTU would lead to
  an incorrectly quoted value of 'NULL'.
