Error description

• The Feature Pack for Web Services for WebSphere Application
  Server V6.1 includes a file named
  com.ibm.jaxws.thinclient_6.1.0.jar in the
  install_root/runtimes directory.  This JAR file can be used
  by external JAX-WS web service clients that call web services in
  WebSphere Application Server.
  .
  The com.ibm.jaxws.thinclient_6.1.0.jar includes the
  javax/servlet/Servlet class, which could cause a classloader
  conflict in some client environments.

  When the com.ibm.jaxws.thinclient_6.1.0.jar file is being used
  in a client environment outside of WebSphere Application
  Server, the existence of the javax.servlet.Servlet class
  within that JAR file could cause classloader conflicts.
  
  The javax.servlet.Servlet class is not needed by the
  com.ibm.jaxws.thinclient_6.1.0.jar file, so it is removed by
  this APAR.
  

Problem conclusion

• The javax.servlet.Servlet class file has been removed from the
  com.ibm.jaxws.thinclient_6.1.0.jar file.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 6.1.0.19 of the Feature Pack for Web Services.  Please
  refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information:
