Error description

  • The Table_Actions Option 2 (Stop all displayed tasks) is not
verifying the stop as a valid action against the task type.
Therefore, if X-Stop is issued against a type BTAM task,
an "Invalid value" error shows at the top of the screen, however
a subsequent view at the Display Waited Tasks screen shows the
task as STOPPD and the following message shows in the control
    region joblog:
     IQC6802I QSUN ACTION NOTIFICATION: IMSID = IE00 USER = SDTS509
     QUSAGE =  5% LTERM = DFSTCFI  ACTION = STOP
    .
The task is really not being stopped although the screens appear
to show it as stopped. Looking at the IWAITED task screen it
still shows that it is there. For such a task type (BTAM)
R-Release is the only task type that should be accepted anyway.
    .
We need to do additional checking to ensure we do not issue
invalid Row Actions for given task types.

When table action is issued , all lines with iwaited tasks are
checked - the command should be valid for the task type. If no
lines are detected, for which the table action is valid,
the table command is not issued at all.

Problem conclusion

  • Install the fix to issue valid table command agains the
    appropriate tasks types only.
