Apply IBM Content Collector V4.0.1 Fix Pack 7 to upgrade from IBM Content Collector V4.0.1 to IBM Content Collector V4.0.1.7.



Below is the vulnerability that was addressed in this fix pack:
  • ICU4C Libraries upgrade from v51.2 to v58.2:

    • ICC uses ICU4C third party open source library and as per CVE-2016-7415 v51.2 has the following vulnerability. With 4.0.1.7 this vulnerability has been addressed by upgrading ICU4C libraries to v58.2.
    Vulnerability - Stack-based buffer overflow in the Locale class in common/locid.cpp in International Components for Unicode (ICU) through 57.1 for C/C++ allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a long locale string.
