PM12322: "METADATA NOT FOUND" ERROR WHEN SCHEDULING EVENT

Error description

• Customer creates new Event Studio event against Metrics
  package,adds a metrics task to it, sets a schedule and hits
  "Save".     Upon doing so, a "Metadata not found" error message
  appears.??????? ?   Issue has been replicated in both 8.4 and
  8.4.1 environments.?
