Error description

• The DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS Change Management
  Merge messages will be reviewed to ensure that no assumptions
  are being made and the help panels will be reviewed to make
  sure that change is always registered on target so that the
  analyzed will be on the target system.

• Register all changes on the target subsystem and analyze on
  the target subsystem.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using the DB2 Object               *
  *                      Comparison Tool, if the change          *
  *                      is registered on a subsystem            *
  *                      different from that of the target       *
  *                      subsystem, the outcome of the           *
  *                      analyze can be unpredictable.           *

  *                      On the subsystem where the              *
  *                      change is being applied, the            *
  *                      objects may not be found,               *
  *                      leading to analyze or run               *
  *                      failures.                               *

  On panel GOC5 "Generate Compare Job", when change
  management is required or optional, and "Generate apply
  jobs" is set to "Yes", validations are put in place to ensure
  that the target location is the same as that of the current
  subsystem where the change is being registered.
