PM11846: RDA doesn't show group memeberships for specific users

Rational Directory Server (Tivoli) Interim Fix 3 for 5.2.0.2

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If you create a user in Active Directory with a comma in the Ful
  l name then:
  
  - comma is set for full name and display name in RDA user profil
  e
  - no group memberships are displayed in RDA but they are visible
   in Active Directory
  
  If you create a user in Active Directory with a comma in the Use
  r logon name then:
  
  - no comma is set full name and display name in RDA user profile
  - group memberships are displayed correctly in RDA

  If the user logon name has comma then his associated groups
  are not visible in RDA.  It is not visible only at the
  Member Of tab of the RDA user properties.  However, the user
  is displayed on the group property dialog of the groups in
  which the user is a member of. This is a defect and needs to
  be fixed on both Apache and Tivoli variants of RDA.
  

Problem conclusion

• The defect has been fixed in RDS 5.2 (Tivoli)
