APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• CHCPRINT has CHC1517E, Unicode conversion services
  CUNLCNV(CONVERT) request failed,  return code = 4, reason code
  = 7, does not impact the data being replicated. This conversion
  error is occuring when a Start Subscription, Stop Subscription
  and Get Subscription status message is issued for a specific
  subscription.  In order to make the comparison to running
  subscrptions, the data is converted to UCS2. it is this
  converstion that is causing the message to be logged as an
  incorrect lengthin some cases.  This message can safely be
  ignored.

  is received when a Start Subscription, Stop Subscription

Problem conclusion

• Module CHCDSCIQ has been amended to correctly convert the
  subscriptions name.  This will allow the names to be matched
  correctly to running subscriptions.
