This document describes how to download and install Communications Server for Data Center Deployment V7.1 using the Passport Advantage Online Web site
Download Description
The Passport Advantage Online Web site has complete images of IBM Communications Server for Data Center Deployment V7.1. The product supports servers on AIX, Linux, and Linux on System z. With this Communications Server for Data Center Deployment, there is also a Remote API Client that support Windows x64, AIX, Linux and Linux on System z platforms.
New to this release are support for Ubuntu Linux Server LTS and Power Linux on ppc64le architecture.
The media for the Communications Server for Data Center Deployment contains 4 download images.
- TAR image for CS/AIX server
- ISO image containing CS Linux server for Linux on Intel (x86_64) and Linux on Power (ppc64le)
- Compressed TAR (TGZ) image for Linux on System z
- ISO image for Remote API Client
- ISO image for Quick Start guide containing documentation for the platform servers and the clients.
The Remote API Client ISO image supports client platforms for Windows x64, AIX, Linux (x86_86, ppc64le, s390x). The Remote API client will need a CS/AIX , CS Linux, CS Linux on System z server to connect to for SNA LU connectivity.
