This document describes how to download IBM Tivoli Netcool Configuration Manager Version 6.4.0 installation images from the IBM Passport Advantage Online website.

Downloading and assembling the product

  1. Navigate your browser to the Find Downloads and Media page on the IBM Passport Advantage Online website. You must log on to continue.
  2. Select the Find by part number search option under Download finder options.
  3. Search for each downloadable image by part number (parts are listed and described by operating system in the tabbed section of this document).
  4. Download all of the parts that you need.
  5. Unpack each of the parts into a single, temporary directory on your system.
  6. Navigate your browser to the IBM Tivoli Netcool Configuration Manager Knowledge Center page and navigate to the Netcool Configuration Manager V6.4.0 library of publications.
  7. Download the full PDF documentation set.
  8. Follow the instructions in the IBM Tivoli Netcool Configuration Manager Installation and Configuration Guide to install the product. Downloadable parts

To install Netcool Configuration Manager 6.4.0 on AIX, you must download the Quick Start Guide and the Base AIX part. You must also download either the 32 Bit or the 64 Bit Reporting part that you require, as well as the multiplatform Device driver parts in the relevant eAssemblies.
