• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A Tivoli Storage Manager server enabled for shared memory
  protocol may stop accepting connections via shared memory if
  invalid data is sent to the shared memory port.
  Trying to establish a client/admin shared memory session with
  the server shows the following errors :

  Customer/L2 Diagnostics:
  A port scanner application, such as nmap, that scans the
  Tivoli Storage Manager server shared memory port may cause the
  shared memory driver to terminate. In this case, the following
  nmap command caused the shared memory driver to terminate :
  
  nmap -sT -p <shared memory port>  <hostname of tsm server>
  
  Various errors are logged in the activity log of the server.

• Stop and restart the TSM server to restart the shared memory
  driver.
