Abstract

This document describes how to download IBM® Banking Process, Service and Financial Services Data Model v8.5 from the IBM Passport Advantage Online Website

Download Description

The IBM® Banking Process Models are the result of years of experience modelling the Financial Services Industry. The Process Models contain a set of key processes required to operate a Financial Services Institution, and are defined, where possible, to be independent of product, channel, organization structure or technology. The IBM Banking Service Models define a set of interface definitions that promote the development of interoperable Financial Services Industry software.

Prerequisites

Before you install ensure that your computer meets the Hardware and Software Requirements outlined in the following document:

Important Considerations
If you consider using the Banking Process and Service Models for Standard Tooling deployment option, please use the models delivered as part of the following Fix Pack:
IBM Banking Process and Service Models 8.5.0 Fix Pack 01 (8.5.0.1)

Installation Instructions

To Install:
- Extract all the files from the Download Package.
- Navigate to the Disk1 folder.
- Double click on setup.exe.
- Follow the instructions in the installation wizards.

Or for Accessibility support, to Install using the installer with screen reader software:
- Extract all the files from the Download Package.
- Install the Java Access Bridge and enable it for using screen reader software.
- Ensure Java is executable from all paths.
- Navigate to the "Disk1\InstData\NoVM" folder.
- Double click on Install.exe.
- Follow the instructions in the installation wizards.
