Error description

• The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) container uses the wrong
  listening point to send requests. This problem causes SIP
  requests to be rejected with a 403 Forbidden response.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The port number in the Via header,      *
  *                      added by the container, does not        *
  *                      match the local listening port.         *

  When the container generates a SIP request, it adds a Via
  header field value to the message, and then sends the message
  out to the network. The Via header field value contains
  the local address and port number, which identify the
  network location of the sender.
  In some cases, the container changes the local port number,
  after creating the Via header and before sending the message.
  Because of a bug in the container, the Via header remains with
  the old value. This results in sending a message from a port
  number that is different than the port in the Via header field.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem is fixed in the SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)
  container. With this fix, the Via header field value in
  outbound requests matches the local network address and port.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 6.1.0.31 and 7.0.0.11.  Please refer to the
