Error description
Preview of old version in JSR 286 portlet is not working as expected. It always shows the parent SiteArea's default content. Steps to reproduce the issue. (1) Create a new "Web Content Page" , and configure JSR 286 portlet on this page. (2) Make sure in WCM Authoring portlet , Edit Shared Settings , Previewing Options , following option is selected. Allow authors to preview content dynamically in a Web Content portal page. This will enable to option preview content as "Preview as a Web Content portal page." while previewing the content. (3) Make sure the version stragery is "Manual" in WCMConfigServices.properties file. (4) Create a version action. (5) Add version action in entering stage of publish workflow stage. Create a workflow that has this workflow stage. (6) Create a content with above workflow and save it in sitearea having some other default content and publish the content. It will create a version of the content. (7) open content in read mode , click "Versions" button. It will show the old versions of content. (8) Select any old version and click preview button , select option , " Preview as a Web Content portal page " , and preview it.. (9) A pop up will open with the page created on step 1 . Now look at the content.. It shows the parent sitearea's default content.. It should show the old version of the content.
